Your Role as a General Practitioner

As a General Practitioner at SEHCF, you will:

• conduct consultations and create individualized treatment plans;
• collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care;
• provide community care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services;
• perform minor surgical procedures and routine GP tasks in our clinic;
• utilize digital tools and teleconsultation options to enhance patient care.

Emergency care responsibilities are minimal, allowing you to focus on continuity of care and building meaningful relationships with your patients.

Your Profile

We are looking for a General Practitioner who meets the following criteria:

• BIG-registered (or equivalent) with broad expertise in general practice;
• additional skills or experience in chronic and elderly care are a plus;
• empathy and cultural awareness to connect with the diverse population of St. Eustatius;
• strong command of the English language (spoken and written);
• excellent communication skills to engage with patients, team members, and stakeholders;
• a team player who values collaboration and feedback;
• full-time availability and flexibility to adapt to a comprehensive range of tasks;
• willingness to commit to at least 1 year (extension possible);
• previous foreign work experience is an advantage but not required.
